That’s French for “But what is this”?, By The Way.
I assume that A lot of you have come from Christopher Livingston’s blog ‘livin’ in oblivion‘, which I must say, is awesome. So awesome, that, in fact it has inspired me, an average gamer, to make my own version.
As you have probably guessed from the title, my character will be an Orc. And not just any Orc, an Orcish Nobleman... Forced to start from the beginning in the vast world of Cyrodiil. Don’t expect much yet, as only tomorrow will I begin the process of mod downloading and character creating, so expect the first entry on Wednesday or Thursday.
Even though my character is a nobleman, he’s still an Orc, and if he don’t bash skulls himself, he’s going to get someone to do it for him, so I’m going to be using the Crowded Cities mod, which basically adds a whole bunch of people randomly mulling about each one of the towns.
A large difference between the adventures (NAME) gro (SURNAME) and Nondrick P. Cairk’tir is that Nondrick started out in Anvil – Whereas (NAME) gro (SURNAME) will start out in Leyawiin. Since the Oblivion Modular enhanced mods’ main quest delayer plugin starts you in Anvil, I’ll have to break the ‘No Fast Travelling’ rule once to FT to the North East Gate of Lewayiin, where my boat has dropped me off.
Also, unlike Chris’ blog, mine has a set goal: For (NAME) gro (SURNAME) to restore his title of nobleman by buying Rosethorn Hall! This is the largest house for sale in all of Cyrodiil, costing a total for 49,000 Septims to purchase the home with all its’ upgrades.
However, If I see that I am too rapidly progressing towards my objective, I will change it to this one:
I must purchase EVERY home in Oblivion, complete with all the upgrades. I don’t think I’ll be changing to this one anytime soon.
And that’s all for today!
